No one particular kind of diet will suit every type of person or body type. However, there are some diet tips that will work with everyone and every eating plan, no matter your body type or diet. That’s because these tips are central to the way our bodies work.
If you don’t use these weight loss tips, any weight loss program you try to follow is going to be impossible to follow, or at least very difficult to do. You’ll think that you’re fighting to lose weight, and this is because you’re fighting against your body’s own natural instincts to survive.
However, if you follow and use these tips, you’ll find that the weight loss you have will go much easier because you are going with your body and how it works, not against it. You will be enhancing your body and its own natural homeostasis, and you’ll also be encouraging its natural healing process. As Dr. Joel Wallach says, “Give your body what it needs, and it will heal.”
Obesity is a symptom of death and dying
When it comes to losing or maintaining weight, keep in mind that the same systems that do that are also the ones that make your growth, healing and energy possible, as well as maintaining your body in general. They are, in fact, what keep you alive. If you keep them going, and you work with them, your life will be healthy. If you work against them, though, you can damage your health or you can even kill yourself. Look at it honestly for a second; what is obesity, after all? It’s a symptom of dying and death.
Put in place little routines that support your life and weight-loss systems. Make sure you are hydrated, exercised and stretched. Eat small portions, often and early in the day, chew your food well. Don’t eat burnt oils or drink sodas. Cut way down on sugar, carbohydrates and alcohol. Eat more protein but be sensible about it.
We are creatures of habit so make a fun ritual. We got fat by always having a ‘cookie with our coffee’ ritual. Create new fun rituals that support your body being healthy.
Do the little things right and it will come right
And don’t expect to do it perfectly every single time. If you forget to follow any of the tips during any of the days, just start again right away. Don’t even wait until tomorrow; just start again now. Every day you do the right thing, the better things will go for you.
Understand and read the rest of the tips and then make little rituals that you write out for yourself (noting them on paper is especially handy) that will tell you when you should get up, eat throughout the day, and go to bed. Little by little, you’ll see that these weight loss tips are going to support your life and your weight-loss in general.
